    The Nationals of the below mentioned countries do not need a Lesotho tourist visit visa. However, the Nationals of those countries given with the asterisk sign need to get a visa if want to stay more than 14 days.

    Requirements


    You should fulfil the following requirements to be eligible for the Lesotho Tourist visit visa from London. These requirements serve as prerequisites for the visa.


    (a)    Completed Application Form signed duly by the applicant at the designated place.
    (b)   You should have a passport that has validity for at least six months.
    (c)     You should have two passport size photographs in a white colour background.
    (d)   You should also have a proof that you have made an arrangement of your travel by air.
    (e)   You should have at least 100 British Pounds.


    These prerequisites are subject to change according to the updated policy of the Lesotho Government. Therefore you are recommended to consult with the High Commission to avoid any inconvenience.

    Visa Fee


    Visa fee is 2.47 pounds that should be paid along with application. You can submit your visa fee in cash and with Postal Order made payable to the name of the “Lesotho High Commission in London”. If you want to pay your fee in cash, you should visit the Visa section of the Lesotho High Commission in London in working hours between 9:00 to 12:00.

    Check List


    After you have submitted your visa Fee and filled up the application form, you need to check your application package before sending to the Lesotho High Commission in London.


    (a)    Completed Application Form.
    (b)   Application Form is completely filled.
    (c)    Your photograph is current and clearly shows your name.
    (d)   Visa fee has been submitted.
    (e)   Passport is valid for six months.
    (f)     Passport must have two blank pages for the visa.
    (g)    Your bank statement has enough amount of money.
    (h)   If you want to submit your application by postal service, you need to attach the stamped, prepaid, self-addressed delivery envelope with your application.

    Submission of Application


    After you have completely checked your application package, you can submit in-person or by postal service. You can submit your application form between 09:00 to 12:45. You can also submit your application form via postal service. You are advised to use registered postal service to avoid loss of documents.

    Processing Time


    All applications are processed in five working days. However, the time of processing may change application to application. Usually applications submitted by postal service, can cause delays.

    Collection of Visa


    If you send your application in person, you can collect your visa by making a personal visit to the visa section of the Lesotho Embassy in London. You can collect your visa 1400 to 1500 from Monday to Friday from the Visa section of the Embassy.


    If you submit your application by postal service, your visa will be posted back to you after the issuance from the Consular section. It can take more than usual time to reach you; therefore you should plan your trip keeping this time in your mind.

    You can take household things, electronics like ipod, laptop, camera, or other products. You can also take literature, sports articles and entertainment products. But any of these things should not include internationally illegal drugs and weapons.
