    Use Vinegar to Get Rid Of Cat Urine Smell


    Vinegar is one of the best solutions to go for as it eliminates the stench very quickly due to its acidic nature. In order to use vinegar, you have to blot the cat urine as much as possible. Now take two parts of water and one part of vinegar and mic them, before rubbing it on the the affected area. Now let the carpet or floor dry and if you still feel the smell, repeat the process until the smell vanishes.  1 cup of vinegar can also be used in the washing machine to get rid of the stench from your clothes.



    Vinegar does have its on musk also but i would prefer it over smell of Cat Urine and it is much better than buying expensive products to battle the cat urine smell in your house.

    Use Baking Soda to fight the Cat Urine Problem


    Baking soda also serves best to get rid of the urine smell mainly due to its strong deodorizing properties. Sprinkle the baking soda on carpet, furniture or any other affected area and let it stay there overnight before vacuuming it. Baking soda can also be used with Hydrogen peroxide to form a paste which can be applied to the cat urine stains. You can also add ½ cup of baking soda in your washing machine in case the smell is also in your clothes.

    Use Enzymatic Cleaners


    Enzymatic cleaners are specially manufactured chemicals that are effective against strong odours. You can easily find cat urine enzymatic cleaners from your local stores. Take the enzymatic cleaners and spray them directly over places where cat urine smell is present, then let it dry to get rid of the smell.

    Use Oxygen Bleach


    You can also use oxygen bleach, which is commonly known as non-chlorine bleach, to get rid of the cat urine smell instantly. It contains sodium percarbonate, which when comes in contact with water, creates oxygen that helps you get rid of strong odours. If you have the powder form of oxygen bleach then mix it with water and apply it on the affected areas. If the oxygen bleach is already in a spray form, then you can directly spray it over the cat urine and let it stay for at least 15 minutes.
