Requirements
Taiwan Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs handles the applications for the Taiwan tourist visit visa. The Consular has set the following requirements:
(a) Completed application form that should be signed by the applicant.
(b) Two Passport size Photographs that should be in light colour background and not be older than six months.
(c) Original Passport that should be valid for at least six months before the application. There should be at least one blank page in the passport.
(d) Photocopy of the passport.
(e) Bank Statement showing that you can bear the expenses of your visit to Taiwan.
(f) Travel itinerary such as return ticket.
(g) Visa Fee
You may be asked to enter additional documents if required.

Visa Fee

You can pay your fee either in case, company cheque, postal order or bank draft. In case you select to submit your application in person you can submit your visa fee at the time of submission of applications.
If you want to make a postal order or Bank draft, these should be made payable to the “Taipei Representative Office in the U.K.” or “TRO in the U.K.” If you choose Bank’s draft option, remember your bank draft should include readable accounting and routing information. If it is not possible then the name of the both banks to which the fee is payable and the details of the bank with which this account is held.

Submission of Applications
You can submit your application either in person or using postal service. If you want to submit your application in person, you should take your fee with you to the Taipei Representative office in London. You can submit your application from Monday to Friday between 9:30 to 12:30.

Processing Time
All applications are processed within five working days except those which requires additional documentation and inquiries. However, postal service may cause delay in your application processing time.

Receive Visa
If you submit your application in person, you will have to collect your visa making a personal visit to the Taipei Representative office in London.
If you submit your application by post, the Taipei Representative Office in London will send visa back enclosing in the envelope that you sent with you application.
