How to Get Up in the Morning
Getting up in the morning is something that a lot of people struggle with throughout their lives. Initially, it is extremely hard to get up early in the morning for school or college. Once a person grows up and starts working, he finds himself struggling to get up and reach office on time. A lot of people also end up missing important commitments because they are unable to get themselves out of bed on time in the morning. While this is indeed a problem, it is not a problem without a solution. A little effort and some precautions make it possible to get up in the morning without much of an issue.

1
Do not eat something right before going to sleep at night. Eating food, especially wrong food, right before hitting the bed can cause a lot of problems for your body during the course of the night. The body has trouble digesting the food and in most cases, a person ends up feeling gassy. The state that a person consequently finds himself in makes it pretty hard for his mind to relax and therefore he has trouble sleeping. Even if a person manages to go to sleep, he is likely to find himself waking up a number of times during the night. Not getting proper sleep during the night makes it extremely hard to get up in the morning.

2
Go to sleep on time. Even though doctors have been stressing over the importance of getting sufficient sleep since years, people still go to sleep late at night. Rather than having a certain bedtime, people go to sleep only when they run out of energy to do something else, like hanging out with friends, watching a movie, or spending time on the Internet. A person who does not sleep on time is bound to feel tired in the morning and therefore find it extremely hard to get up.

3
Alarm if your best friend when it comes to getting up in the morning. If you have a bedside clock, set the alarm for whatever time you want to get up at. Even if you do not have a clock, you can set an alarm on your cell-phone. Make sure you choose the loudest and more annoying alarm tone, so that it succeeds in waking you up from deep sleep in the morning. Set the alarm to go off on all working days, leaving out the weekends, so that you do not have to worry about setting it up every night.

Draw the curtains of your room so that you do not get disturbed by the moonlight or light from the neighbour’s house. Consider closing the door of your bedroom as well.

Make it clear to everyone that you are not to be disturbed once you go to your bedroom to sleep, unless it is an emergency.
