First, you need to pay attention to your child’s early learning and you can do it by teaching them the ABC's and numbers. You can also consider involving them in activities such as singing the alphabet and numbers, which will greatly help them in their early school lessons.

After the child is done with learning the ABC's and numbers, it is time for shapes and colours. Parents should not only use flash cards to teach their children, but also, they should try using different objects to teach them about various shapes and colours. Parents can engage their children in learning while they are travelling. In addition to that, parents should also try some websites to get some tips that can help in early learning.

To make a concept of school in your child's mind, make different stories about school fun and tell your child. Show him/her a school bus and explain how nice or fun the inside is. Visit your school district and show your child the school, play ground, kids and classrooms if you get permission from the authorities.

Teach your child basics at home, like math, science, reading, writing, grammar, shapes, lower case and uppercase alphabets, vowels, nouns and pronouns. This will surely help your child to get good grades right after he or she goes to school. It is hard for busy parents to teach kids like that but if your child attends day-care, choose one where learning is the centre of attention and not the TV. Request the day-care provider to teach your child through various fun activities. On weekends try to give two to three hours to your child's learning activities instead of wandering in shopping malls.

Fix an hour for your child everyday and do not do anything else at that time. This way your child will also understand the importance of learning and their interest will increase if you will give them small reward like a sticker, ice cream and sometimes chocolate. If parents pay attention to their children's learning before they go school, it will be easy for both to manage their time when it classes actually start.
