Knee injury has become very common among people especially those who perform physical activities like playing different games or those who do physical labour.     First of all, you should warm up your thighs in order to increase the blood flow which will help you feel a little decrease in your knee pain.

    Put your right hand on the upper side of your knee and the left hand below your knee. Now you should massage upwards from knee to thighs which will keep the muscles of the thigh and knee warm.

    Now repeat this process towards the inner thighs and then do the same towards outer thighs in order to make the thighs muscles warmed up from all sides.

    After warming up your thighs and the tissues of your knee, you should place your left hand below the knee and hold it gently.

    Put your right hand on the upper side of the knee ensuring that your palm is touching your knee. Now press your knee and massage it by moving your hand forward for about two inches.

    Make sure you squeeze the muscles gently and try your best to avoid pinching the skin of your injured knee. Move your hands upwards in order and repeat the process of massage until you feel comfortable.

    You can also use your middle finger for massaging an injured knee. Just put the tips of middle fingers on the outer muscles of your knee and press gently while moving.

    Keep moving your fingers across the leg just below your knee and then move upwards towards the inner thigh just one inch above the side of your knee.

    Continue doing this massage for about 10 to 20 minutes according to the intensity of the pain. This massage will give strength to the muscles and your knee pain will start decreasing during the massage.
