  First of all, you should get as much information about the types of bushes as possible because there are many different types of bushes that people grow for privacy including holly, Indian hawthorn, sasanqua, camellia, azaleas and gardenia.

  After selecting the type of bushes for privacy, you should get small hedges or bushes from the local nursery. Make sure these bushes have healthy roots.

  Always select that type of bush that is appropriate for the soil of your home as different bushes require different types of climate and soil.

  Select the area at your home where you want to grow the bushes for privacy. Make sure you have removed all vegetation or other things from that area which should be not less than three feet wide.
