Instructions

1
Choose the spot where you want to hang the theatre light. Theatre lights tend to works best if they are hung in around the boundary of the stage but that is not a rule and you can hang a theatre light where ever you want.

2
Place a ladder on the ground and make sure it is not directly under the spot you chose for hanging the theatre light. Place it approximately one and a half feet away from the chosen spot. Before climbing the ladder to hang the light, ensure that it is properly working and has a safety wired attached to it.

Holding the light in one hand, carefully climb the ladder and position yourself in a comfortable working position at the top of the ladder. Most theatre lights are hung using C-clamps that come along with the light. Attach the C-clamp holding the light at the desired spot and tighten the bolt using a wrench until the C-clamp has made a proper grip on the bar. Make sure that the theatre light becomes stable before moving on to the next step.
