Over-scheduling your child can be a result of lack of concentration while setting up his routine.     In order to save your child from overscheduled routine, you must take a closer look at the daily routine of your child. This will not only help in keeping track of your kids’ activities but you will also be able to know them well. It is important that you should know about the school timings of your kid and what they do afterwards. Most importantly, you should know about how much time they spend on playing and where they play.

    Decide what you want to add in your child’s routine

    After you have analysed properly what is the routine of your child, you must ask think rationally what you really want to add in his routine. Most of the times parents want their children to study extra hours after school while some want to take them to a training camp as they want them to excel in sports. Therefore, whatever you want to add to your kid’s routine, you must think about it properly.

    After you have decided what you would like to add to the kid’s schedule, you must talk to him alone about the possibility of doing that. You must not try to dictate terms to your kid but make it more of a discussion, as this would be in the best interest of both of you.
