How to Hypnotize Someone
We do like to try out different activities while having fun on a number of occasions. The more unique a certain activity is the more fun it provides. If you are really looking to come up with something utterly different for your friends on any upcoming occasion, one good thing to try is hypnotizing. The concept of hypnotizing is certainly not an alien one and has been practiced by psychiatrists since long. It is actually a technique by which the mental state of a person can be controlled in such a way that he or she accepts to do anything that is suggested while being hypnotized. However, it must be ensured that it is not used for any wrong purpose.

1
First of all make sure that you have a dimly lit room with an arm chair and a soothing music is being played somewhere at the background as it is important to fully relax a person before hypnotizing.
-
2
Once you have the stage set, allow the person to sit on the armchair fully relaxed. Make sure that he does not fall asleep so do not let him lie down.
-
3
As you notice that the person is all set on the armchair, start talking to him in a gentle tone and ask him to close the eyes and breathe deeply.
-
4
It is good if you keep on repeating words like “relax and breathe deeply” over and over again in a constant tone to the person being hypnotized.
-
5
Ask the person to concentrate on something like any part or organ of the body such as eyes by saying “your eyes are slowly closing down and you are about to sleep”. Make sure that the person does not stop concentrating.
-
6
Try to be friendly with the person you are hypnotizing by asking questions related to any of his problems, stresses and their causes.
-
7
Keep encouraging the subject, bearing in mind that a person in such a state often expresses the inner feelings or problems that he or she is hesitant to express normally.
-
8
If you do not get a positive response from the subject, keep on repeating the process several times for about 15 minutes. Give inspiring suggestions and observe the reaction if you are able to find a loop hole leading to the subject’s mental condition.
-
9
Once you have achieved what you wanted, bring the person back to normal state by counting from one to ten in a relatively sharp tone. Ask him or her to open eyes slowly.
-
10
If the person was really hypnotized, there will be some changes in the body like red eyes, flattened face muscles, breathing speed altered and fingers trembling.
-
11
Wait for the person to come back to the normal state before you go on to discuss the whole session with him or her.
