    Training and Technique

    As is the case with just about any sport, what you need to do is practice your pitching day in and day out.

    Training is going to take a lot out of you, but in order to be amongst the best you need to spend hours on end practicing your pitching.

    Now training is not going to be all about just throwing a ball at a wall. When training you need to go on and focus on your technique as well. You could be the best pitcher out there, but if you don’t have the right technique you are of no use to your team.

    So the one of the ways for you to start building strength and power in each one of your deliveries is if you practice every day and focus on your technique.

    Weight training

    You need to develop your biceps, triceps and shoulders in order to have the raw strength that will help you deliver that bullet of a pitch.

    You can be technically gifted and practice every day, but you would never be able to go the extra mile and push your limits if you don’t hit the gym and work on those arms.

    This is why you need to work on your entire arm including the shoulder, since it helps generate the force and power that can help you win games and strike out your opponents.
