1
Drinking fluid before meal
While fluid intake prior to meals is an excellent way of making your body reach fullness even by consuming very less quantity of food, avoiding fluid intake will have an exact opposite effect. Abstaining from drinking fluid such as water before you start eating your meal will make you feel hungrier and your body will take longer than before to reach the sensation of fullness, thus allowing you to keep consuming food for a longer period of time. -
2
Exercise
Performing any exercise, be it cardio or high-intensity exercise, will result in your metabolism becoming higher. The calories stored in your body will be burnt at a faster rate to release more energy, which will consequently leave your body feeling weak. You will start feeling hungry in order to replenish the energy used up during the exercise session. -
3
Take long walks
Depression can often curb your appetite. While you cannot avoid experiencing depression, you can step out of it by taking long walks. Walking will not only cause you to feel better and more relaxed, but will also increase your metabolism. With no depression and a hungry body, your appetite will increase. -
4
Consume small glass of drink with sugar half-an-hour before meal
Sugar drinks initially causes a spike in your blood sugar and then follows it up with a decline. This affects your appetite, raising it significantly. -
5
Reduce fibre intake
While fibre is excellent for digestion and is regularly recommended by physicians regardless of whether you are obese, normal, or underweight, you will need to cut down on your fibre intake when looking to increase your appetite. Consuming fibre has a similar affect on your stomach as water, i.e. making you feel full. This will result in your brain signalling you to stop eating faster. Reducing fibre intake does not mean completely taking it out of your diet. -
6
Take extra bites
Even after your hunger is sated, try to eat more in order to stretch your stomach. Once your stomach is stretched, you will see an increase in your appetite than before.
