Purchase good quality light rail from a wood store and place it in a clean dry place. Make sure that the panels are smooth and check their level with a builder’s level. The installed cabinet and the light railing should be flush; if they are not flush, use a wooden file to make the light railing smoother.

Mark the light railing at the edges of the cabinet and cut them up in a diagonal way to give them a good look. You can also use filler between the cabinet and railing in case the need arises.

    Cut a piece of railing:

Use a wooden saw to cut the first piece of the light rail at an angle of 45 degrees. The centre point of the railing should be where the markings on the railing intersect.

Cut another piece of the rail:

If your cabinet is square, it means that the other side of the light rail needs to be of the same length. However, if both sides are not of equal length, place the wood chunk on side of the cabinet wall and mark its corner points. Use the wooden saw to cut the plank at an angle of 45 degrees and put it aside along with the finished products.
