Know the number of goals each team has scored

You are required to have a record of the number of goals both teams have scored. It is easy to record the score of each team as this is often a low scoring game. You can easily jolt down the number of goals each team has scored.

    Goal scorer

You need to jolt down the name of the player who has scored the goal. Besides the goal scorer, you need to write the person’s name who passed the ball to the scorer (the one who has scored an assist on the goal). Keep in mind that this information will come handy after the game is finished.

    Time of the goal

You are also required to note down the time when the goal was fired into the net. The time of the goal should be accurate upto the seconds, as it helps in the post game analysis.

Count the penalty goals as full goals

You need to pen down the goals scored  via penalty kicks as full goals.

This is also applicable for shootouts i.e. when the game is tied, even after overtime. Five shots are allotted to each team and the player needs to take the kick from the penalty mark. In case the original score was two to two and one team scores four while the other three in the shootout, then the final score will be six to five.
