    Socks:

Cotton socks do not help in the cold weather. You should ideally use wool to keep your feet warm. However, if you are allergic to wool, microfiber options are also available. Change your socks regularly to avoid accumulation of moisture from perspiration. Wet socks lead to cold feet.

Wearing two layers of socks also help by insulating air. Wear a thin pair on the inside and a thick pair over them on the top.

    Shoes:

Take a break from your stylish shoes and go for closed sturdy ones that cover your feet well and offer protection from the cold. Snow boots or hiking boots are good at this job. Keep wiggling your toes to increase the blood circulation to them. Blood brings heat and energy. Do not wear socks or shoes that are too tight because they hamper blood flow to the feet.

Waterproof shoes that are easily available in the market do a good job of keeping your feet dry which indirectly keeps them from being cold. Woolen shoes are also available which keep your feet warm like woolen socks.

    Soak them:

Fill a tub with warm water and soak up your feet when you feel terribly cold during the day or before bed. Leave them for a while and relax. Take them out, pat them dry and then wear wool socks. This process also improves blood circulation to the feet especially if you massage them while in the water. It will also keep them clean from the beauty perspective.

While going to bed you can fill a bottle with hot water and place it under the blanket near your feet. This will warm up the space around your feet. Tuck the blanket all way round your feet to insulate the space.

You just have to wear these sleepers and connect the attached USB to your computer and your feet will enjoy a warm session.

Battery powered sock and shoe soles are also available. You can trim these soles according to your size and place inside your shoes. However, they have limited life and use.

Keep the head warm to keep the feet warm:

The body loses the most heat through the head. If you cover up your head well with a woolen cap or scarf, the body will retain heat and transfer it to all parts of the body including the feet. For the rest of the body, dress in layers so that air is trapped between them and insulates you from the cold.
