How to Know if You Fancy Someone
Emotions tend to get confusing at times and require a bit of an effort to interpret. This is particularly true in the early stages of falling for someone. A person finds themselves feeling confused about their feelings for a certain someone who has been lingering on their mind longer than what would be considered normal. The emotional roller-coaster that a person sudden finds themselves on can become quite frustrating, as the battle to understand their feelings for a certain someone continues inside their head.
If you are confused about your feelings for a certain someone, then you need to ask yourself a few questions and reply to them honestly.

1
Ask yourself if you are having trouble in getting that person off your mind. While it is normal to think about the various people that you are familiar with, the situation becomes significantly different when you find yourself thinking about a certain someone too frequently. You find yourself thinking about what that person said to you, how they reacted to what you said, the way they smile, the sound of their laugh, the way they walk, the way they talk, etc. Over-thinking about your interaction with the person, and failing to push their thoughts out of your mind is a strong indication that you have begun to fancy them.
-
2
Ask yourself if you desire physical intimacy with that person. The level of physical intimacy can range from the desire to wrap your arms around them, feel their body pressed against yours, sharing a kiss with them, or something far more intimate like spending the night together. Determining the level of physical intimacy that you desire with that person not only helps you to understand your feelings for that person, but also serves to clarify the depth of your feelings.

3
Ask yourself if you just want to talk to the person (sharing your stories with them and listening to theirs), hang out with that person because they are good-looking or popular, or whether you actually want to have a long-term relationship with that person because they appear to possess all the qualities that you want in your life-partner.

Ask yourself if you feel a strange sensation surging through your body every time you are close to that person, or find your body becoming weak every time you notice that person looking in your direction. If you do get butterflies in your stomach and feel weak in their presence, while getting their attention, then you definitely like that person, maybe more than you actually realise.
