    Determine the measurements for the closet

    Note down the height and width of the doorway to the closet by measuring them. The measurements are helpful when you go to the market to look for the ideal sliding doors.     Get rid of the previous closet door

    Displace the old closet door. Unscrew the door from the origins and take off the hinges and door from your wall. Note down that if you already have an existing sliding closet door and want to change them, raise them off the tracks in order to get rid of them. Have your safety glasses on and remove the screws and tracks from the surface with the help of your electric drill and screwdriver. After that, put in the new tracks. Add the upper track above yourself on the door with drill and screws. Trim the track with the hacksaw to get the perfect length if the track is a bit long for the door frame. Put in the door rollers on top of all doors with screws. This allows you to change them for the doors to stay put.

    Track adjustments

    Add the bottom track on the surface. Search the place for the bottom track by putting it on the surface and hanging the sliding doors. Then look for the center of the track. Mark this spot with a pen or pencil and remove the doors. Attach the track to the surface with the drill and your screws.
