The first thing is an appropriate colour choice. You need to avoid a bright coloured bralette with light-hued dresses. You need to do this because the bright colour of the bralette is clearly visible through the dress which is a fashion disaster. It is advised that you wear a white or nude bralette, as this will be easier to conceal under clothes. Remember your objective should be to layer the bralette, so you need to be very peculiar when choosing the appropriate colour for yourself.

The next thing is the fitting of your bralette, if it is too tight not only will it feel restrictive but will also form bulges of your skin just around the edges. These bulges can also show under the clothes which will leave you with an awkward appearance. Hence, when buying, always try out the bralette before making the final payment and be sure that it is neither too tight nor too loose.

When you are aiming to layer a bralette under a tank top you need to make sure that the straps are of appropriate thickness.

Selecting a bralette with a neckline appropriate for your top is important. Using a bralette for concealing the cleavage might not be the best of ideas, and would make you look cheap. In order to achieve a classy look, it is best that your bralette has an appropriate neckline.

It is not just the bralette you have to carefully select while buying, but you need to be equally cautious when choosing the fabric of your outfit. Do keep in mind that shirts made with thin cloth will almost, always, show bumps caused by the lace of the bralette. So it is better that you choose microfiber fabrics, as they are not that prominent.
