How to link Twitter & Facebook Accounts

Before doing anything else you will need to make sure that you have the required Twitter update application installed on to your computer. If this is not the case, go to Twitter’s website and download the product for free. Once the installation process is complete, run the application to make sure it works without any errors.

Now open a new internet browser window and type Facebook website address in the URL section. Enter your username and password to log into your Facebook account. Open the Twitter application page in a new tab. As you run Twitter, a window will appear asking for your permission to access your Facebook account.

Click the allow button so the application works to create a connection between your Facebook and Twitter accounts. You will be required to click sign in with Twitter and then make sure the connection process has completed successfully. If you accidentally log out of your Twitter account, you will be prompted to do so in the same window.

Selecting where you want your Tweets to be posted is very easy. Simple use the check boxes in the menu on the left hand side of the Apps permission section. You may choose to either post a Tweet to your personal Facebook profile or simply to a page you manage. However, remember that any messages or Tweets containing reply @ Tweets will not be published on your Facebook account.
