Usually, the domain name is directed to the server where your website is hosted when DNS settings are changed. However, you must obtain the DNS name servers from the company responsible for hosting your website. These addresses look very much like typical web addresses. Every domain name is hosted on two servers and the hosting company is responsible for providing these details to you at the time of signing up. Do not forget to talk to a customer services representative if the company does not provide this information to you.

To link the domain name to your web hosting server, consider changing the DNS name servers in the control panel to the name servers provided by your hosting company. Although every domain name registrar has its own method for changing the name servers, usually you can get access to the DNS setting by logging in to the company’s website. If you are unable to find a way to change the DNS settings, you must contact and request them to make the changes for you. Sometimes it may take up to 48 hours for the changes to take place.
