How to Make a Beautiful Flower Pen for Mother’s Day

Things Required:
– Silk flower with attached stem or any other artificial flower that you like
– Pen
– Scissors
– Green floral tape
– Green velvet fabric or felt fabric
– Low-temperature glue gun
– Green ribbon

Remove Pen’s Cap
Pull off the cap of your pen and set it aside. -

Cut the Stem of Flower
Now hold the selected silk flower with its stem against the length of the pen and the pen’s end butted up against the underside of the artificial flower.
Use the scissor to trim off the flower from the main stem or about 1 to 2 inches above the exact point - where the tips of the pen begins.

Attach the Flower to the Pen
Hold the 1 to 2 inch stem of the flower against the end of the pen and wrap a floral tape all around them in order to secure them properly. Start wrapping from the end where the flower’s tip begins and slightly overlap each new wrap with the earlier one. In case you have cut the flower from the stem, without leaving a stem, simply attach it to the end of the pen, suing a glue gun. -

Wrap up the Pen
Cover the main body of the pen with a green floral tape or ribbon and secure it at the tip, using a glue gun. -

Make Leaves
Take a piece of green velvet or felt fabric and cut two leaves out of it. Hold the leaves against the pen right in the centre and attach them the recently wrapped fabric tape, using a glue gun. -

Re-place the cap on this beautiful flower pen and present it to your mom on Mother’s day.
