Find space
Now before you do anything, you need to realize that a bicycle repair stand is going to take up a lot of space. So the first thing you need to do is find this area where you think you could set up a bike stand.

Fabricate
Now after you have figure out the area, you need to go online and look up at some sample bike stands and see what their structure is like.
Once you have done this, go ahead and fabricate all the parts that are required to create this bike stand.
Make sure that you use good strong quality metal, since bikes can get pretty heavy. At the same time, make sure that all the welding that you have done is done properly. -

Test and add tools
Once you have done fabricating and welding the thing, place it in the desired spot where it will be placed. After this, you can place a bike on it, just to see what it looks like with a bike.
Having done this, make sure it is firm and rigid enough to hold all weights placed on it. The last thing you need to do after this, is to add tools to the drawers in the stand, so you are ready to use it.
