Making a clown cake is really easy and even a novice can make it, provided that they know the right process. Here is how you can make a scrumptious clown cake for your child’s birthday or for any other occasion.
Ingredients
  • Egg whites - taken from 3 eggs
  • Package white cake mix - 1 (18.25 ounce)
  • Water - 1⅓ cups
  • Canola oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Paste food colouring - Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Take two 8-inches round cake pans and grease and flour them, before setting aside.
  2. Take eggs whites and beat them well using an electric mixer until they become frothy.
  3. This will take around 1 minute.
  4. Now add in cake mix, water and canola oil as you beat them together for around 2 minutes.
  5. Here, you should set the mixer on medium speed.
  6. You can take the batter and divide it into six parts and place them in separate bowls.
  7. Using a toothpick, take a dab of food colouring and add it into one of the bowls of batter and stir well.
  8. You can add more colour if required, until the desired shade is achieved.
  9. Now you need to scoop spoonful of the batter into the prepared pans and use a toothpick to swirl, which will give your batter a marbled effect.
  10. Place the pans into the oven and bake for around 30 minutes.
  11. Take out the pans and allow them to cool for 10 minutes.
  12. Once they get a little cool, place them on a co0ling rack. You can now decorate the cake with whatever you wish to make it look like a clown face.
