How to Make a Cuba Libre Cocktail
Cuba Libre cocktail is a drink which is made up of cola and lime and is classified as a highball drink which is sometimes also referred to as coke and rum cocktail, but lime is an extra ingredient in this variation of the cocktail.
The drink gained popularity after the end of Spanish American war. This is one of the reasons why the drink is also translated as “Free Cuba.” The drink’s recipe is easy to remember and can be a good addition into any one’s cocktail recipes.

Utensils: Highball glass or Collins glass and a stirrer
Ingredients:
– 1 / 2 fresh lime
– 2 ounces of light rum
– 4 ounces of cola
– Ice cubes as required

Take a highball or Collins glass and squeeze half a lemon into it to add some fresh lime juice, and then drop the lemon into the glass to add extra taste.

Now add the required amount of ice cubes in the same glass.

Take two ounces of light rum and four ounces of cola and pour it into the glass.
