How to Make a Gin Sour Cocktail
The Gin Sour cocktail belongs to a family of original sour drinks. This traditional drink is appreciated and used all around the world. Fineley Dunne wrote a book in 1898 and he mentioned this recipe as one of the greatest American inventions. One serving of Gin Sour require 2 ounces of gin, one ounce of lemon juice, half teaspoon of superfine sugar, one slice of orange and one maraschino cherry. The drink is best for parties and special events and can easily be made at home.

Ingredients:
– 2 oz Gin
– 1 oz lemon Juice
– 1/2 teaspoon Superfine Sugar
– Maraschino Cherry for garnishing – optional
– Fresh lemon wedge for garnishing – optional
– Ice as required

Take a cocktail shaker and place ice cubes in it according to your requirement.

Now, top the ice cubes with 2 oz of gin, 1 oz of lemon Juice, and 1/2 teaspoon of superfine sugar.

Cover the cocktail shaker properly and shake it for few second until the sugar dissolves well.

Grab a cocktail glass and pour the drink into it.

Garnish your Gin Sour cocktail with Maraschino Cherry or a fresh lemon wedge and serve chilled.
