Well, for starters you can always start off by cropping the picture to your liking. There are ways in which you can crop the picture. Eliminate the area you do not want in your picture. Moreover, it will also give a closer perspective to that part of the picture which you have selected not to crop. Therefore, cropping is the first way out of this dilemma. Therefore, always try and crop the unnecessary things out.

Secondly, what you can do is, add brightness and contrast. These two options are always there in all the editing softwares. You can always click on these two options and it will help you get out of the problem that you are going through. The brightness effect will definitely increase the visibility of the picture, and add more whiteness to it. On the other hand, contrast is a totally different ball game. You can play with the contrast tool and you will eventually get somewhere where you want to.

The third option which you can also mingle with is the colour saturation tool. There are other tools as well, but these are the ones which are considered to be the basics. You can use the colour saturation tool in order to make the colours brighter. The vibrance tool, in the new editing softwares, helps you come out with the same result. You can enhance the amount of colours added in the picture. You can select the area where you want the colours to come out well and you can add this tool to that particular area in order to edit the picture you want to.

The last option is definitely the custom tool. The custom tool will randomly select a few edited settings already existing in the software you are using. It will assign those settings to your picture and the one which you like, you can always select it.
