How to Make a Hayride Cocktail
Hayride cocktail is one of those inventions that are made by different columnists in innovative columns. This cocktail was invented in a newspaper’s column i.e. Boston metro in their 2-4th November 2007 edition by Dan in his column titled “Cocktail of the Week.”
The cocktail is made by making use of Cognac, triple sec and fresh lemon juice and then it is garnished with a thin lemon peel twist for a delightful look. There are several other variations of this cocktail and one of the most famous one is Hennessy Hayride cocktail – which is made by replacing simple Cognac with Hennessy Cognac.

Utensils: A large cocktail glass, a stirrer
Serving size: One serving
Ingredients:
– 2 ounces of cognac
– One ounce of triple sec
– One ounce of fresh lemon juice
– Ice cubes as required
– Thin lemon peel twist for garnishing

Take a large cocktail glass and add ice cubes in it as required.

Now take two ounces of cognac, one ounce of of triple sec and one ounce of fresh lemon juice and pour all of them in the glass that contains the ice cubes.

Take a stirrer and stir the ingredients briefly. Garnish the drink with a large peeled lemon twist.
