Are you looking for something delicious and yet low in calories? Or are you expecting some guests who do not like to consume desserts with high calories?If answer to any of the questions is yes, then nothing can be better than to bake a cake using vanilla wafers. The recipe is really easy to make and does not require you to have expert cooking skills.
Ingredients
  • Package flaked coconut - 1 (8 ounce)
  • Eggs - 6
  • Ground pecans - 1 cup
  • Low fat butter - ¾ cup
  • White sugar - 1½ cups
  • Package vanilla wafers, crushed very fine - 1 (12 ounce)
  • Milk - ½ cup
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 165 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is shown in Fahrenheit, make sure it is set to 325 degrees.
  2. Take a 10 inch fluted tube pan, such as Bundt, and grease it before flouring its surface.
  3. Take coconut and ground pecans and mix them well.
  4. Set them aside.
  5. Beat together butter and sugar in a large bowl make light and fluffy cream.
  6. Add eggs one by one and keep on beating the mixture till the last egg is mixed.
  7. Now add crushed wafers and milk to the mixture and beat them well.
  8. Take the already made coconut – ground pecans mixture and add it to the recently made creamy mixture.
  9. The batter is ready.
  10. Pour the batter into the already-prepared pan and put it in the oven.
  11. Bake it for almost one hour.
  12. Try to insert a toothpick in the cake after one hour time and check if it comes out clean.
  13. If it does, remove the cake immediately from the oven and allow it to cool.
  14. The cake is ready to be served.
