How to Make a Healthy Meatloaf
Meatloaf is one of the main dishes for dinner in the United States. You can easily make it after following some simple instructions. In addition to this, it requires less time for preparation and baking of meatloaf.

Ingredients:
Extra lean beef mince: 500g
Fresh wholemeal breadcrumbs: 1 cup
Brown onion, grated: 1
Carrot peeled, coarsely grated: 1
Tomato sauce: 2 tablespoons
Flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped: 2 tablespoons
Egg, lightly beaten: 1
Barbecue sauce: ¼ cup
Chat potatoes, halved: 8
Dutch carrots, peeled, trimmed: 1 bunch
Green beans, trimmed: 150g
Salt: to taste
Pepper: to taste

Preheat the oven and prepare the baking tray
First preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Then you need to prepare the baking tray by lining it with baking paper.

Place mince, breadcrumbs, onion, carrot, tomato sauce, parsley and egg in a bowl
Get a large mixing bowl and add 500g of extra lean beef mince, one cup of fresh wholemeal breadcrumbs, one brown grated onion, two tablespoons of tomato sauce, two tablespoons of chopped flat-leaf parsley leaves and one lightly beaten egg.

Season and combine the ingredients
After adding all the ingredients, you need to season it with salt and pepper. Later mix all the ingredients by using your hands. Remember to wash them thoroughly before mixing.

Shape the mince and place on the tray
Now shape the mince in 10cm x 18cm rectangle and then place it on the baking tray you prepared earlier.

Bake and then drain the excess fat
Bake the shaped mince for almost 25 to 30 minutes or until it becomes firm. Then take it out from the oven and drain the excess fat.

Pour sauce and cook again
Next you need to spoon barbecue sauce over the baked mince and then place it back in the oven. Cook for another 10 minutes or until top is varnished.

Serve with vegetables
While shaped mince is cooked again, you can prepare the vegetables. Place halved eight chat potatoes, trimmed carrots and trimmed beans in separate micro-wave safe plastic bags. Microwave each item for around two minutes or until tender. Slice the meatloaf and then serve with these vegetables.
