If you're looking for something different for your breakfast routine, finding a new snack or simply want a light meal, then you might try combining low fat (or nonfat) yogurt, fresh sliced fruit, and granola. This makes for a delicious, healthy, quick and easy to prepare breakfast. All the ingredients required to prepare this dish are readily available.
Ingredients
- Low fat or non-fattening yogurt (plain or flavoured depending on your personal choice) - 1 medium sized bowl
- Freshly sliced fruit of your choice (Consider using grapes, pears, tropical fruits such as orange and pineapple, blackberries, blueberries, bananas, mangoes, peaches, raspberries, apples, grapes, strawberries - 02 to 03 fruits
- Granola - as per your liking
Instructions
- First of all, you will be required to wash the fruits thoroughly using warm water. Also wash the work surface.
- Next, slice the fresh fruit using a sharp knife.
- Take your time when cutting the fruits.
- Cut medium sized fruit slices for best taste and texture. Place the fruit pieces in a large sized bowl.
- Unpack the low fat yogurt and pour it into a medium sized container or bowl.
- Now add your preferred amount of yogurt onto the fresh fruit and mix thoroughly without breaking the fruit pieces.
- Finally, place your preferred amount of granola on top of the yogurt and fruit.
- Now you can mix all that together, or simply dig in and start eating.
