Hunter’s meat loaf is not only rich in nutrition; in fact, it also fulfils your appetite. Resisting the temptation of this particular recipe is impossible. In the last few years this dish has gained a lot of popularity. This is the reason why there have been several variations in the way this dish is cooked.
Ingredients
  • Ground venison - 1 pound
  • Ground pork - ½ pound
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Bread crumbs - 1 cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Chopped onion - ¼ cup
  • Salt - 1½ teaspoon
  • Garlic cloves - 2
  • Ketchup - ¼ cup
  • Sage (optional) - ¼ teaspoon
  • Celery (optional) - ¼ teaspoon
  • Pepper (optional) - ¼ teaspoon
  • Wine (optional) - 2 cups
Instructions
  1. The first and foremost thing you should do is to rinse your utensils properly as this is very important to avoid dirt and germs.
  2. Take a mixing bowl and put the milk and breadcrumbs in it. Mix them properly until it becomes a creamy mixture.
  3. Now add the other ingredients and blend them properly. You may use a fork while mixing but it is better to do it with your hands as it will not only save your time but also make blending effective.
  4. After you are done with mixing, form meat loaf in a rectangle shape. However, you can also make it in round shape. Meanwhile, pre heat your oven to 350 degrees.
  5. Place your meat loaf in a baking pan and then let the oven do its work. Bake it for 60 minutes or until it changes brown in colour.
  6. Bring the meat loaf out of your oven and serve it after garnishing properly.
