How to Make a Kamikaze Cocktail
The kamikaze is a simple and delicious alcoholic beverage that is extremely popular. The beverage derives its name from the Japanese word meaning “divine wind.”
It was the name that was also given to suicide military aviators of Japanese ancestry in times of war. Although the namesake is intense, the drink itself is far from it in all the right ways.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
Ice
Vodka: 1 oz
Lime juice: 1 oz fresh or bottled
Triple sec: 1 oz
Lime wedge: to garnish

Ice in Glass
Fill your glass 1/2 way or 2/3 of the way with ice. -

Mix the Goods
Mix the vodka, lime juice and triple sec in a cocktail shaker, shaking the ingredients until mixed evenly.
If you do not have a cocktail shaker, you can use a small container with a secure lid or simply pour the ingredients into your glass and mix vigorously with a spoon. -

Set and Garnish
Pour the alcohol from your cocktail shaker into the glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
If you simply poured the ingredients into the glass and mixed it well, simply garnish with the lime wedge. -
