How To Make a Leave-In Conditioner
After any sort of hair treatment or just shampoo, it is recommended that you apply good conditioner to your hair to complete the repair process. Normally, all the good brands of shampoos also provide conditioners but not all of us can afford to buy those expensive products. Many of us also prefer to use natural herbal shampoo and conditioners, rather than those in the market which contain synthetic chemicals. It is true that natural herbs and ingredients are best to preserve natural shine and beauty of your hair. Herbal shampoo nourishes head scalp and make your hair stronger. However, some acidic contents in herbs might require the need of an herbal conditioner for hair repair purposes. While most of the conditioners need to be rinsed out after few minutes of their application, many of us don’t want to bother washing hair again and again. So what if you make your own conditioner which won’t need to be washed out after use? It seems beneficial and time saving at the same time. Leave-in conditioners reduce tangling of your hair and help define curls in them. Such conditioners are very beneficial for dry and damaged hair, and it does not require great effort from you to make leave-in conditioner at home.
Instructions
-
1
Take a standard empty mister bottle and fill one quarter of it with your regular wash-out conditioner. Choose the conditioner which suits your hair the best.
-
2
Add one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice to the conditioner. Equal amount of vinegar will also serve the purpose but its smell is not liked by many of us.
-
3
Fill the mister bottle half way with purified or distilled water. Close the bottle tightly and shake vigorously to blend the entire mixture completely. Using tap water instead of distilled water may increase the amount of ‘buildup’ on your hair, causing further problems. This phenomenon has been witnessed especially in areas where only hard water is available.

4
Mixing conditioner into water might be a laborious job, depending on the type of conditioner you have chosen. Keep shaking the bottle until you have blended the contents completely.
-
5
When you see the conditioner has fully dissolved in the water, add more distilled water to the bottle and fill it up. Shake again to get a uniformly mixed solution.
-
6
Shampoo your hair and mist hair with your leave-in conditioner afterwards. Make sure to dry up your hair with towel after using shampoo and apply conditioner when they are still damp. Blows dry your hair to your desired style.
