If you are looking to prepare a fountain drink at home then the New York Egg Cream can be the perfect choice. In addition being economical, the New York Egg Cream is extremely delicious. Various manufacturers and individuals have attempted to bottle this product but so far no one has been able to come up with a method to do so, successfully.
Ingredients
- Fox’s U Bet chocolate syrup - as per your liking
- Cold Whole milk - 300 ml
- Club Soda or Cold Seltzer - as per your liking
Instructions
- Before doing anything else, you will be required to pour 1 inch of U Bet syrup into a 16 oz. glass.
- U Bet is traditionally used to add sweetness to the product and therefore you can use varying amounts to suits your needs.
- If U Bet is unavailable, a renowned brand like Hershey’s is usually just as good and will get the job done.
- Pour in some milk on top of the flavouring syrup.
- Next, fill up the glass with club soda or seltzer and make sure there in enough room at the top so the foam does not overflow.
- Use a spoon with a long handle to vigorously stir the mixture as this will ensure uniform mixing of chocolate across the sides and at the bottom.
- Immerse your straw in your freshly prepared soda drink and consume it before the foam disappears.
