How to Make a Paper Wallet

Wallets are slowly but surely becoming a thing of the past. People now prefer to carry loose change in their pockets, simply because they can.

At the same time, people find it very hard to find a wallet that really suits their personality or the image that they are looking to portray in front of everyone.

As a result, a decent alternative to this is to make your very own paper wallet. Having a paper wallet means that you can make your own wallet for each day of the week, and that you can have multiple wallets, all of which match you and your personality.

Instructions

  • 1

    Get good paper and tape

The first step is for you to go out there and gather the best quality paper that you can. Remember that you are going to be making a wallet for your money out of this paper, so there is no point in trying to save any money on paper, and you should get the best of the best.

Also look to invest in good durable tape, because it is going to be securing your wallet and holding its integrity together. Make sure that you don’t waste time getting poor tape, since that will end up making the wallet not adequate or up to standards.

    Construct

Now you need to start constructing your wallet. Get a rectangular piece of paper, with its dimensions being between seven and eight inches, by eleven and six inches.

Next you need to cut out enough tape to cover both sides of the paper that you initially got. You may use multiple layers of tape for firmness.

Lay your paper on a table, and then grab the bottom end to make a small fold it in. Tape the sides of the folded end in. Now close all of it again, and place a heavy object on the whole unit.

    Finish

Now remove the heavy object from the wallet, open it and make sure that it is secure. You may now decorate it as you please, since you have almost infinite options based on what you can do.

However, try and keep the add-ons to a minimum, since you don’t want things falling into your pocket and leaving colour stains in your pants.

The last step is for you to open the wallet, and slide the money in, as you look to enjoy your paper made wallet.
