1
Select Pictures
Select the pictures that you want to add to the quilt. Get them uploaded on a computer and select the ones which you feel will look good on the quilt. Remember to pick the most memorable or important photos for the quilt. -
2
Adjust Pictures
Make sure that you adjust these pictures. You probably will need to resize them and may need to edit them just a touch so that they look great once they are printed on your quilt. Make sure that they are clear and are not under or over-exposed. Crop unwanted areas on the side and concentrate on the main object in the picture. -
3
Print Pictures
Print the pictures on fabric sheets that are specifically made for this purpose. Most stores carry these sheets which can be printed upon and are ideal for quilts. Make sure that you use a good quality printer for this purpose to achieve the best results. -
4
Trim Sheet
Trim the sides of the sheet to ensure that the main object is in the middle of the blanket. Allow some space for the seams so that the picture does not get distorted in the final stages. -
5
Patterns
You can add more than one picture for a given quilt. Do this in an artful manner so that it looks unique. You can also alternate a block with a picture and plain fabric before the next picture is placed. -
6
Sew
Sew the quilt but do take extra care to make sure that everything is in order. Add layers as per the requirement. In case it’s decorative in nature, a couple of layers of flannel should be enough. If it is for proper use, you probably want to add more layers. Give it a nice finish and you will have a great memorable product.
