Potato pancakes are one of the tastiest and easy to make recipes. You can serve them in parties as well as in family gatherings. Furthermore, you can make them in very less time as compared to other kinds of pancakes.
Ingredients
  • Potatoes: 6
  • Egg: 1
  • Onion: ¼
  • Flour: 3 tablespoons
  • Salt (as per your taste)
  • Cooking oil
  • Sugar (as per your taste)
Instructions
  1. First of all, you have to peel the potatoes. Then, take the shredder and shred all the peeled potatoes into tiny pieces. Put all the shredded potatoes into a large bowl.
  2. Now, take around one quarter of an onion and shred it into small pieces. Add the shredded onion to the bowl which contains the potatoes.
  3. Then, you have to add the egg and flour into the bowl. After that, add salt and pepper as per your choice and mix all the ingredients well with each other by the help of a spoon or fork.
  4. Take a frying pan and keep it on a medium heat flame on a stove. Pour some cooking oil in the pan and wait until the time when it gets heated up.
  5. Hold the bowl near the frying pan and take out one spoon of the mixture to put into the frying pan. Keep adding the potato mixture from the bowl into the frying pan to make the pancakes with the help of the spoon.
  6. You have to cook the pancakes on medium heat until they turn brown. Then, flip them on the other side so as to cook them from both the sides.
  7. Take the cooked pancakes out in a plate by the help of a spatula and keep them aside to cool down.
  8. You can use any sauce with it as per your choice. In addition, you can also use garnished cheese as a topping.
