Instructions

  • 1

It is quite easy to make protein rich shakes without using any artificially prepared powders. You need seasonal fruits, milk, fruit juice and some cheese to get all the proteins you need in a shake.

  • 2

Wash the fruits (strawberries, apples etc) before use.

  • 3

The next step is to take your blender out of your kitchen shelf and wash it thoroughly with a detergent.

  • 4

If you are using apples peel them off with a cutting knife.

  • 5

Bananas are the most important ingredient in this protein shake, so take two to three and cut them into small pieces with a knife.

  • 6

Now place the fruits in the blender.

  • 7

Bring the milk and put it in the blender, followed by some cream or yogurt as this will help in thickening your shake.

  • 8

Add cottage cheese and some peanut butter.

  • 9

Now you need to add cooked or plain oats in the blender for a dose of three grams of protein.

  • 10

An egg contains six grams of protein, so do not hesitate to add one to the blender.

  • 11

Now close the lid and turn on the blender at high speed. Keep it on for about 30 to 40 seconds, just to let everything mix properly.

  • 12

Turn the blender off, open the lid, and place two spoons of ice cream in the shake. You can choose the flavour of the ice cream according to your choice.

  • 13

Close the lid again and turn the blender on. Keep it running for 15 seconds and then stop.

  • 14

Open the lid and stir a cooking spoon inside the blender to see if the shake is smooth enough.

  • 15

If you see small pieces of fruit, close the lid and blend a little more.

  • 16

If the shake is too thick for your taste you can either add water or ice to it, and blend again.

  • 17

Once the shake is to your liking, pour it in a glass and enjoy this protein rich drink.
