First, you have to get the leather sheets which are hard and stretchy enough to hold and provide support to the arrows. You must know that leather is classified by its thickness. Therefore, you must buy leather sheets which fulfil your requirement to make the quiver. In addition, your leather must be soft as it will last longer.

You can use any size of leather sheet. However, this guide is for a 23 x 19 x 18 inch sheet. The longer sides of the sheet will be used to make the right and left corners of the quiver. In contrast, the shorter side will be used to make the top and bottom parts.

Turn the backside of the sheet after spreading it out. Now, mark each corner with the help of some ink. Please note that you have to mark the right and left corner about ¼ inch from the four edges. Both the left and the right side must be parallel to each other.

Take the hole punch and make holes on all the marks. After that, roll down the leather sheet and use the laces to tie all the edges. Next, attach the strap by placing the quiver on a flat surface after stitching. In order to fix the strap, make two holes on the top and bottom of the quiver by using the hole punch. Pass the strap from the holes and stitch the ends. Make sure that the strap is properly stitched and can handle the weight of the arrows.

Be sure to attach the bottom section of the quiver. It should be strong enough to hold your arrows. Use a piece of 2 ¼ x 7 inches of leather to make the bottom part. Use the hole puncher to make holes that you can use to lace up the bottom piece.

In the end, clean the quiver from any extra threads with the help of razor utility knife. You can also polish your quiver with black or brown shoe polish.
