How to Make a Rose Bouquet
Making a rose bouquet is not a difficult task at all, especially if you have all the necessary tools available. You can gift it to anyone on their birthday, wedding, or any other special occasion. In addition, you can also use it to decorate your house, if you have invited someone over on any particular day.
You can buy such bouquets from the market easily, but that will cost you a lot of money. Therefore, it is ideal and far more cost-effective to prepare them at home. You can also sell them, if you are interested in making money out of this activity.
Things Required:
– Fresh roses
– Twine, wire, ribbon or plastic sheeting

1
Collect some roses
If you have planted roses in your garden, you will not have to worry about buying them from somewhere else. Simply collect the freshest, most beautiful ones, and use them for your purpose. Make sure you have gathered enough to make a nice large bouquet, otherwise you will have to look for some other flowers to serve your need. -
2
Pull the thorns off the roses
When you have collected the roses, pull the thorns off their stems, so the receiver doesn’t hurt his/her fingers. Moreover, you also have to get rid of any extra leaves and unsightly petals, in order to make the bouquet look neat and clean. This will give it a more symmetrical and visually appealing appearance. -
3
Prepare the stems
Trim the stems nicely and then wash them under running water. This way, they will stay hydrated for a long time. However, you have to ensure that the stems are not trimmed too short. -
4
Place the roses on a plastic sheet
Put all of the roses on a plastic sheet and arrange them according to their size. The larger and taller ones should be in the centre whereas the others should be placed around them. -
5
Secure the flowers
Before wrapping the plastic sheet around the flowers, you have to secure the roses with the help of a wire or tape. Make sure that the flowers are tied at the bottom, so that the stems are not visible once the bouquet is wrapped. -
6
Wrap the sheet
If there are some extra long stems, cut them off and then wrap the plastic sheet around them. Once you have secured the flowers and wrapped them, tie a ribbon around the part where the stems are, in order to make the bouquet look more beautiful. You can then present it to the person you made it for.
