How to Make a Rose Kennedy Cocktail

As suggested by the name, the cocktail was named after Rose Kennedy, the mother of John F. Kennedy, once president of the United States. Rose Kennedy was beloved by the public for her open personality and philanthropy. That is why we now have a famous and much loved drink named after her. The drink is perfect for people who are diet conscious and are over-looking their calorie intake. The ingredients include soda and vodka which are not very heavy and are refreshing at the same time. In bars, it is known as VSS (vodka, soda and splash) for short instead of the original name and it is most famous in the mid-Atlantic and Northeastern Regions of The United States. Ingredients:

– 1 part soda
– 1 part vodka
– splash of Cranberry juice
– Lemon wedge or skin twirl for garnishing (optional)
– Ice cubes in appropriate quantity for chilling

    Take out your best cocktail glass and chill it in the refrigerator. Cocktail tastes best when chilled. Take it out when the sides appear frosted.
