How to Make a Sake Manhattan Cocktail

The Sake Manhattan Cocktail is extensively looked upon as one of the delicious and best cocktails ever invented. A well made Sake Manhattan Cocktail is a guarantee of super hit parties and get-togethers. This amazing cocktail is also as strong as a properly made martini. However, like the martini, it started out differently.

The interesting fhistory of the Sake Manhattan Cocktail has a reasonably persuasive story behind it, because of the reason that it has been often repeated. On the whole, the cocktail was first prepared by Dr. Iain Marshall in the honor of Lady Randolph Churchill, mother of the famous Winston Churchhill, at the Manhattan Club in New York City in the early 1870’s. This wonderful cocktail was completely enjoyed and it touched the skies within no time. Since then a Sake Manhattan Cocktail is one of the well-known cocktails in the world.

Rob Roy, Manhattan Cocktail, Brandy Manhattan, Perfect Manhattan, Ruby Manhattan cocktail, Cuban Manhattan, Latin Manhattan, Royal Manhattan, Southern Manhattan, Tijuana Manhattan, and Soul Manhattan etc are the famous variations of the traditional Sake Manhattan Cocktail.

Utensils: Martini Cocktail Glass, Cocktail Shaker

Ingredients:
– (2 ½ oz) Dry Sake
– (1 oz) sweet vermouth
– Dash Angostura bitters
– Maraschino cherry skewered with orange peel for garnishing –optional
– Ice Cubes

Instructions

    Fill up a martini cocktail glass with ice cubes or crushed ice to chill it properly. Set it aside until you prepare the Sake Manhattan Cocktail.

    Note: You can also place the cocktail glass in your refrigerator to chill.

    Fill half of your cocktail shaker with cracked ice and let it sit for at least one minute.

    Add in 2 ½ oz of Dry Sake, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and a dash of Angostura bitters.

    Seal the cocktail shaker properly.

    Shake it vigorously for 5 to 10 seconds until the ingredient mix well.

    Remove the ice from your martini cocktail glass.

    Strain the Sake Manhattan Cocktail into the Martini cocktail glass.

    Dress your drink up with a fresh cherry and orange peel.
