How to Make a Satan’s Whiskers Cocktail
Satan’s Whiskers is one of the strong cocktails that are large in size and this is why it is served in over-sized cocktail glasses. Perhaps this is the reason why Satan’s Whiskers Cocktail has this scary name. This is basically a perfect drink for all seasons as people can relish it not only in October on Halloween, but anytime of the year. The balance taste of Satan’s Whiskers Cocktail also makes it an ideal drink with which non-cocktail drinkers can introduce themselves to this kind of beverage.
Satan’s Whiskers Cocktail first surfaced when Harry Craddock published his book by the name of Savoy Cocktail way back in 1930. At that time Satan’s Whiskers Cocktail had two versions; one was called “Satan’s Whiskers (curled)” and the other was known as “Satan’s Whiskers (straight)”. The curled one used generic curacao, whereas straight one comprised of Grand Marnier.
However, the common recipe which most of the bartenders use today to make Satan’s Whiskers Cocktail is a bit different from that of Harry Craddock, but several people still love this drink. If you would like to make Satan’s Whiskers Cocktail by following this commonly used recipe then, this piece of writing will guide you in this regard.
