How To Make a Skin Exfoliating Facial Mask
Exfoliating is the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, to keep it healthy young and vibrant. This process has been used for centuries. If you are planning to exfoliate your skin but fear that you may go out of budget, then don’t worry, you can easily make your own skin exfoliating facial mask at home, using a few household items you already have at hand.
The most easy skin exfoliating facial mask you can make at home is the one which includes powdered sugar. Take half-grind sugar. Add water to it to make a thick paste. (If you have an oily skin, you can also add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to it). Rub this paste on your face and neck using your fingers to work the cleanser in small circles. Wash your face first with warm water and then with cold. The cold water will close the pores after the skin exfoliation.
Things Require:
– ¼ Cup Half-grinded sugar
– ¼ Cup water
– 1 teaspoon baby shampoo
– Lemon juice (optional)
– Washcloth
– Medium size mixing bowl
– Whisk

Take ¼ Cup powdered sugar in a medium size mixing bowl. Add one teaspoon of a some good brand baby shampoo to it. Mix sugar and shampoo with the help of a whisk. Stir the ingredients for 1 to 2 minutes to make them mix completely.

Now add ¼ cup of water and 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice to the sugar and shampoo mixture, and stir until you get a thick paste. If the paste is still too thick, add water spoon by spoon until the desired consistency is achieved.
Note: The final mask should have a grainy texture. -

Apply this facial mask on your face and rub it gently in small circles to help the sugar granules penetrate into your skin and coarse pores.

Let the mask remain on your face for five minutes, before you rinse clean them with lukewarm water, using a washcloth. Move the washcloth in circular motions over your face and neck to make sure entire mask has been removed.

After removing the exfoliation mask, wash your face with cold water. This will close the pores on your skin, preventing dirt and other debris from entering the pores.
