How to Make a Tinted Cream Blush

If you are a regular user of traditional blush powders, then you must have experienced that the blush powders wear off during the day, especially when you have dry skin. The only way to avoid such issue is to use cream blushes.

However, the high costs associated with the cream blushes restrict many women to purchase them from the market. If you are one of them, then you have reached the right place, as this article will help you in using the basic items in your cosmetic bag to create tinted cream blush in no time.

Things Required:

– Small blush brush
– Powdered blush(es) and/or eye shadow(s)
– Small container with tight fitting lid

Instructions

  • 1

Select your favourite powdered blush, which you want to use to create cream blush. You can use single blush or can take multiple colours of blushes or eye shadows to create a shade of your own.

  • 2

Now take a small blush brush and use it to sweep a small amount of the makeup off the top and dust it into a small container. Make sure that the container has a lid that can tightly be fitted. Now take one teaspoon of your blend or different blends together and put them in the container. Mix them well until you find the blend of your choice forming.

  • 3

You can now add ½ teaspoon of illuminating powder into the container, depending on your requirement. This powder will help in highlighting your cheeks and make them glow. If you already have highlighted cheeks, then you may skip this step.

  • 4

Now take one tablespoon of your favourite moisturiser and add it into the already prepared container. Mix the moisturiser well with the powders already present. You can use a tooth pick to stir the mixture. Make sure everything gets mixed well, before you use it on your face.

  • 5

Apply a small amount of the cream blush at a time, as it can go a bit darker compared to the powdered form. If you find that the colour of the cream blush is light, then you can add some more colour to the mixture. Make sure you use the same colour which you added previously in order to get the darker shade of the same colour.
