How To Make a Tomato Deodorant Cream

Tomatoes are not just for culinary uses only! Yes it is true – you can use the fresh juicy tomatoes to do away with the stinking body odor. You might not be aware but tomatoes are one of the natural and effective home remedies to control the unwanted body odor, especially during hot days of summer. Making a tomato deodorant cream at hone is a cost-effective activity when you just have to mix the essential oil of the leave of tomatoes with some other useful ingredients to make your own body deodorant. Tomatoes do not possess antiperspirant properties, so its deodorant does not block the sweating process in your body. However, it is exceptionally helpful in getting rid of the irritation body odor.

Preparation Time: 5 to 10 minutes
Utensils Needed: large mixing bowl, spoon, fork, large container or jar

Ingredients:

– 1 part Rice starch
– 2 parts Sodium bicarbonate
– Few drops Natural Vegetable oil
– Tomato Leaf Essential oil
– 5 to 10 fresh and ripped tomatoes

Instructions

    Mix together 1 part of rice starch and 2 parts of sodium bicarbonate in a large mixing bowl, using a fork.

    Top the starch-sodium mixture with few drops of natural vegetable oil and continue mixing until smooth and get the consistency of your choice. You can use any of the easily available oil like oilive oil or safflower oil etc

    Stir in few drops of the tomato essential oil and mix for few more seconds to thoroughly incorporate it into the mixture.

    Cut 5 to 10 fresh and well ripped tomatoes into medium slices and mash them by placing them into an electric blender.

    Add the tomato paste to the mixture in the bowl and stir it to mix well.

    Your tomato deodorant cream is all set to go; pour it into a clean and dry container or recyclable jar. Seal the container properly and place it in your refrigerator for some time until it forms a thick cream.

    Once you take shower and wipe your body dry, place some homemade tomato deodorant cream on your palm, rub it until smooth and apply it into your skin. Leave it for some time until dry before you put on clothes.
