American cheesecakes are one of the most delicious cakes. They make a perfect dessert for parties and family get-togethers.
Ingredients
  • Butter biscuits, finely crumbled - 300 g
  • Melted butter - 110 g
  • Cream cheese - 600 g
  • Quark cheese (or any low-fat, soft white cheese) - 520 g
  • Sugar - 300 g
  • Vanilla essence - 1
  • Eggs - 6
  • Sour cream - 400 g
Instructions
  1. First of all, you have to preheat your oven to around 150 degrees Centigrade or 300 degrees Fahrenheit which is usually at gas mark 2.
  2. Take a large bowl and put crumbled cookies and butter in it.
  3. Then, mix the butter and crumb thoroughly.
  4. Add the cream cheese into the bowl.
  5. Then, add the quark cheese, vanilla and sugar. Mix all the ingredients well.
  6. Take the spatula and fold the mixture with it. You have to mix until the mixture becomes thick and soft.
  7. It is extremely important to mix all the ingredients slowly.
  8. Don’t beat them or whisk them in air.
  9. Take an egg and add it to the mixture in the bowl.
  10. Add the remaining eggs one by one and keep stirring the mixture slowly.
  11. Now, take the sour cream and cut the packet from the top with the knife.
  12. Slowly add the cream to the mixture in the bowl and stir gradually.
  13. Take the baking ring and add the cheese mix it.
  14. Make sure that the baking ring is completely filled with the cheese mix.
  15. Now, you have to place the baking ring in the lower part of the oven.
  16. Bake it for around one hour and fifteen minutes.
  17. Then, remove the baking ring from the oven and place it aside so that it may cool down.
  18. It will take around 4 hours for the cheesecake to cool down.
  19. Take a knife and cut the cheesecake into pieces after taking it out of the baking ring.
  20. Before serving, you can add some sugar on the cake.
