How to Make an Anaglyph (3D Image)
If you do not own a 3D camera and still want to create 3D images, then you have reached the right place, as this article will talk about the basics of creating 3D images using a digital camera, and Adobe Photoshop.
In 3D camera, you just have to take a picture using the 3D mode, and it automatically turns the picture in 3D. The same does not happen if you have a digital camera. The process becomes a bit lengthy, yet, you can still impress your friends by converting normal pictures in 3D.

First of all, you need to select a scene which you want to capture and edit to turn it into 3D. Take your digital camera and take a picture. You can then slightly slide the camera to your right to take the second picture of the same scene. The difference in the pictures should not be more than the distance between you both eyes.

Now transfer both the pictures to your computer and run the Adobe Photoshop application. Go to the “File” menu and select “Open” to open both your photos. You will use one image for left eye and the other one for right eye, in order to create 3D effect.

Right click on the right image and select “Select All” option, you can just select “All” from the “Select” menu. You can them open the left image and paste the right image on it, by pressing the “Ctrl” and “V” keys at the same time, or by select “Paste” from “Edit” menu.

After you are done with pasting the right image into the left image, you can close the right image, as you will not need it anymore during 3D image creating process.

You can now double click the layers and un-check the red channel box (R) under “Advanced Blending” section and click the “OK” button. Now you need to double click the background and select “OK” on the window that pops up on the screen.

Once again, go to your left image and move the red ghost image to alight the focal point, by clicking and dragging the red portion of the picture. The image is now ready and you can view it using your 3D glasses, on a 3D LED screen.
