First of all, you have to take a bowl. Add a bright shade of acrylic paint into the bowl and then pour some water. Mix them well. Take two or three more bowls and add different shades of paint in them and mix all the paints with water.

  • 2

Now, take a tissue paper and a brush. Apply some paint on the tissue paper from the bowls with the help of a brush. Keep it aside so that it may get dry.

  • 3

Then, you have to apply another coat of colour on the tissue paper with some heavy strokes of the brush. After that, let it dry for a while and apply the third coat. During the third coat, you must put dashes and dots with the brush in order to make a good art impression on it. But, be careful as a little more pressure can rip the tissue.

Take a piece of carpet, burlap or sponge and soak it in the bowl containing paint and water. After soaking it well, take it out and apply the paint on the tissue paper by dabbing it.

  • 5

Now, take a pencil and draw a firefly, spider, cricket or a caterpillar on the tracing paper. Then, keep the tracing paper over the tissue and paint the traced figure on it.

  • 6

Cut the traced image with the help of scissors and place it aside. Take the glue stick and apply it on a cardboard and at the back of the tissue paper. Let the glue dry a little bit. Then, paste it on the board and keep some weight on it for a while. You can also attach the tissue to a wall.
