How to Make Assorted Clickable Links
If you own a blog or a website, you should make sure that it is easy to navigate, or else, people will avoid returning to the site. In order to make the website easy to navigate, you should include assorted clickable links for different pages on your website. Also, you can create a clickable link, especially when you link a specific word with a post in your blog.
It allows you to keep your webpage clean, even if you have posted links on it. In order to create an assorted clickable link, you will have to use HyperText Markup Language (HTML).
Instructions
-
1
To begin creating a clickable link, you can start with the anchor, <a href=. Here, href stands for hypertext reference and the equal sign represents that you need to write the reference link right after it.
-
2
Write down the source URL, which you want to link to the anchor text. Here, you should make sure that the URL is written in quotes. At the end of the URL, place an end bracket, “>”.
-
3
You can now write the exact text that you want linked to the URL, which you had written earlier.
Now finish the HTML coding by placing “</a>”, without the quotes, at the end. This will create clickable link for the text you have written in the coding. -

If you are using Microsoft Word, then there is an easy way of creating clickable link. You need to write a text that you want to link to a URL. Highlight the text and right click on it. From the menu, select “Hyperlink”; this will open a new window on your screen.

5
Now copy the URL of the page that you want to link to the selected text, and paste it in the “Address” field in the window that appeared.

6
Click the “OK” button, and you will see that the text will turn blue. This means that the selected text is hyperlinked, and it will take you to the URL of the page with which it is linked. You can copy the text and paste it in your blog post, or any other page on your website.
